Taking this one notch higher, for unmarried ladies with traditional Indian folks, neatly, marriage ceremony season is hell. Tom Dey's Netflix romcom Wedding Season sees this as its premise. "Pressured by their parents to find spouses, Asha and Ravi pretend to date during a summer of weddings, only to find themselves falling for each other," the synopsis reads.

Asha — performed via Pallavi Sharda (Lion) — is our main girl. When her mom, Suneeta (Veena Sood), makes her a relationship profile on the website online DreamyDesiPartner with out her permission, Asha is of the same opinion to meet "MIT genius" Ravi (Suraj Sharma) and attend weddings alongside him if Suneeta deletes the profile. Though Asha is a little bit stubborn, she soon finds herself smitten with the "Indian Prince Charming."

Where was Netflix's 'Wedding Season' filmed?
According to IMDb, Wedding Season was filmed in Toronto and Ontario, Canada.

The venue comprises 4 separate structures: The Barn, the Byre (which is a time period for a cowshed), the Carriage House, and the Farmhouse.

“It was like a gift, because all weddings we had planned for May and June needed to be cancelled,” Colin Williams instructed The Star in July 2021 of the Netflix challenge filming at his stunning venue. Sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic really put a damper on the business.
