Although he was famous for his humor, as of this writing, Jay has officially retired from the humorous trade. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Jay broke down the true explanation why. According to him, after years of creating people chuckle, Jay learned that he wasn’t in point of fact happy.

“There needed to come a second where I literally looked in the replicate one time. And I was seeing myself as a little child and I used to be like, ‘He don’t like this’,” Jay informed the hole.

It was then that Jay gave up comedy and altered lanes. “I just truly had to have a look at myself out of doors of the fame, the fans, all that. I’m like, ‘What does he want?’ I used to be like, ‘He does no longer wish to do this,’ and I literally stopped,” he added.
