What happened to Roy in 'Sweet Tooth' Season 2? (SPOILERS)

It's obtrusive that not one of the hybrid kids know what happened to Roy — handiest that he was once taken away once they introduced Gus into the prison.

All of the kids look concerned for Roy, like they have were given a sense one thing bad happened to their pal. Unfortunately, their gut feeling about Roy's fate was spot-on.

After Wendy and Gus effectively make their way to the comms room (in their attempt to ship a message to Aimee), they make a horrific discovery.

As they conceal from one of the jail staff, Gus spots one carting a large container. In it? Roy's useless frame. He warns Wendy now not to glance, so naturally, she does and sees poor Roy in a horrible state.

It's very, very, very transparent that poor Roy used to be murdered one way or the other. Gus and Wendy should not have time to process the worrying image they simply saw, as they're stuck and returned again to their cellular.

Naturally, the other hybrid kids in an instant ask if they happened to see Roy. Wendy somberly informs them that Roy is not coming back, leaving the youngsters utterly disheartened.

Gus, recognizing that they might all use a dose of hope, lies to them and says that Roy in reality escaped the prison, which is why he wasn't coming again.

As Wendy watches Gus skeptically, he tells the children that Roy managed to get away after the jail guards took him away. "He's free," Gus broadcasts (in a depressing manner, Roy technically is free from his captors.)

Gus's ploy works — the children are renewed and filled with hope that they too may see a better tomorrow. Later on, Wendy asks Gus why chose to tell the kids a white lie.

Gus defends his choice, saying that it gave them all hope.

Wendy argues that they should not lie, and that she would've told them the entire reality. Ever intuitive, Gus recognizes that Wendy is blaming herself for Roy's dying. He tells her that it's not her fault.

So, do the hybrid kids get away? You just have to watch Sweet Tooth Season 2 to in finding out! All eight episodes are actually to be had to movement on Netflix.
