The fourth and current season of The Good Fight has proven to be simply as wild as anything else we now have come to expect from this legal drama. Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) is now leading the fee in opposition to a world where reality and justice appear to now not exist.
Season 4's premiere used to be an episode of revisionist history that saw Diane input an alternative truth the place Hillary Clinton, and not Donald Trump, received the 2016 election. That said, the Clinton presidency isn't as peachy as somebody had was hoping.
As the episode progresses, Diane notices, amongst other things, that she hasn't once talked with or seen her husband, Kurt McVeigh (Gary Cole). The realization leads her to a feverish seek for her husband and ends with the two of them talking across a table, in the middle of a woodland.
So, what happened to Kurt in The Good Fight? Stay with us.
What happened to Kurt in 'The Good Fight'?
To talk about what happened to Kurt in The Good Fight, we've to start with the change reality Diane unearths herself in at the start of Season 4. The season opens with the similar scene as the hole of the sequence' pilot: Diane is in front of the television, staring at the inauguration.
Only this time, she's celebrating with a bottle of champagne, as a result of Hillary has received the presidency.
When Diane arrives at paintings the next day to come, she concludes that she should have dreamt the previous three years of the Trump presidency. And once she learns that Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court seat in truth went to Elizabeth Warren, Diane is nearly beside herself.
But she temporarily comes to notice that now not all the variations in this change truth are positive. For one, the #MeToo motion never gets off the bottom.
Not only that: Diane soon unearths out that Harvey Weinstein never had his public reckoning; instead, Hillary has awarded him a Presidential Medal of Freedom, and to boot, he is also the big new consumer at Diane's company.
But the most important shock of all of them comes when Diane realizes that she can not bear in mind how she got to the place of job that day, and cannot have in mind the ultimate time she noticed, or even heard from, Kurt.
Remember Season 3's cliffhanger?
Realizing Diane can not take into account what happened to Kurt, issues start to get worrying. Viewers might recall that Season Three ended with a frightening cliffhanger: After Diane goes towards her "book club" (but actually, an underground faction of ladies attempting to swing the election in prefer of the Democrats), they come to a decision to get revenge on her via swatting her (i.e., deceiving an emergency provider into sending an emergency police reaction to another person's cope with).
We all saw the S.W.A.T. group making ready to enter Diane and Kurt's condominium in the finale, but the episode ends before we will see what happens — so it wasn't far-fetched to assume that Kurt, a ballistics professional and proud gun proprietor, would possibly not have survived the incident.
Now, again to Season 4. Once Diane realizes she hasn't observed Kurt in the premiere, she units out to look for him and eventually finds him seated at a table in the center of a forest together with his face shrouded in darkness.
The little details recommend that Kurt died during the swatting and that Diane was once having some kind of grief-induced dream. She tells Kurt that their dating is all that matters to her, regardless of who is president. Kurt responds by means of telling Diane to come again.
This jolts Diane's reminiscence of the swatting, and again, she believes Kurt could have died. But it is a huge aid when Diane opens her eyes and reveals Kurt kneeling via her side in the bedroom.
It seems that Diane had fallen and hit her head when the S.W.A.T. team entered her house, and handed out. Meaning that all of the trade truth of Hillary as president was once only a dream.
And Kurt is fine, thank goodness. We just hope we get to see a bit of more of him, and catch up with Diane's lifestyles outdoor the place of business this season.
