Though many lovers thought the tough drug lord was once about to kill his former weigh down, he slowly lowers his cane and walks away. At this moment, audiences understand that Franklin has been lulling his enemies beneath the false pretense that he was once injured.

Longtime audience of Snowfall know that Franklin didn’t turn out to be the biggest crack broker in Compton, Calif. all by himself — Aunt Louie was proper via his facet.

Though Franklin's Uncle Jerome (Amin Joseph) had his doubts, Louie believed in Franklin’s marketing strategy from the beginning. But after years of looking at her nephew turn out to be a kingpin, Louie is ready to be her personal boss and step out of his shadow.

“I feel she began out short of to play a supporting role," Angela told us. "And then as soon as she more or less jumped into the pool herself, [she] learned, 'Oh, this is more or less right up my alley. I will be able to do this, I will be able to be the leader that I was born to be in this type of realm.'”

It wasn’t long prior to Louie discovered, “I must be main, I should be the one in energy.”

“Not that she needs to overthrow Franklin necessarily, however she desires to have her personal and now not be underneath anybody else's thumb," the actress explained.

Like most industries, the drug trade is male-dominated, especially in the 1970s and '80s. Over the years, Louie has made several attempts to prove herself as a loyal soldier, but in Season 5, the strong-willed character is not looking for anyone’s approval.

“I think we see her even more headstrong, this season than before,” Angela said of her character. “After being looked over, or kind of relegated to the kitchen, in many, many aspects ... I think she just decides to take matters into her own hands."

Needless to mention, Louie’s new outlook on life will most likely affect the family industry, which has simplest gotten increasingly unhealthy. With Snowfall protecting lovers on the edge of their seats in terms of killing off characters, who will die in Season 5?
