On July 4, 2021, Julia and Danny celebrated 19 years of marriage, a milestone that the actress posted about online, writing, "19 years. Just getting started!" Attached to the caption was a photograph of her and Danny embracing every different on the beach. Actress Rita Wilson was considered one of the first to congratulate the couple on their just about 20 years of matrimony, writing: "Happy anniversary! Gotta celebrate big on 20th!"
The two met whilst Julia used to be filming The Mexican; Danny worked as a cameraman on the movie, and even supposing the two have been together for many, many years, no longer much is truly known about the ins and outs of their courting, something that they both appear eager about protecting private.

Because of being married, I’ve met people and experienced all these little things that have nurtured my life — not so much changed it, just nurtured it in a way that’s astounding. He makes me feel my most comfortable self. I don't alter myself in any way."
