
Has Mike Wolfe Picked a New Life Path?

Television's American Pickers has been airing on the History Channel since 2010, an iconic run related with the four season cutoff that the majority top time television faces this present day. But is Mike Wolfe, co-host and brainchild of the American Pickers idea, leaving the show?
Mike Wolfe's non-public existence has been up and down because the show began.
Anyone who has adopted American Pickers is aware of that Mike has an easygoing, personable nature that works smartly for the show's dynamic. But underneath that attraction, Mike had several family crises in recent years that could mean the top of his television occupation, no less than briefly.
First, Mike's spouse Jodi was diagnosed with most cancers in 2013. According to Antique Archeology the American Pickers site and blog, Jodi used to be recognized with stage II Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Thankfully, the prognosis was once caught early on, and it was once all of a sudden handled. Mike has celebrated the anniversary of his wife being cancer-free on Instagram.
Then, Mike and Jodi's simplest daughter, Charlie, was born with a sequence of headaches. Jodi had a son from a previous marriage, however Charlie arrived when Jodi was once already much older. Before she was once even born, Charlie used to be recognized with a dysfunction known as Cleft lip and palate. The Wolfe circle of relatives knew that it will take several years of surgical procedure to proper Charlie's condition, and that alone used to be reason for fear.
In fact, in 2016, Mike used to be so involved in regards to the long procedure Charlie's surgeries have been taking that he preemptively announced his exit from the show. Fans were deeply disappointed, however understood his position as a guardian outweighed his dedication to the show. However, since Charlie's recovery from the surgeries, she is now a contented 8-year-old, and Mike has not introduced retirement any time soon!
Mike has other philanthropic initiatives at the horizon.
In a shocking turn of events, Mike did not finally end up leaving the show as he promised, and persisted on to do a number of extra seasons past his announced exit. Since this time, he has made it his venture to become involved with and create many major philanthropic tasks, including a few which might be very close to home.
The charity Operation Smile was really helpful to Mike and Jodi by Charlie's surgeon. The venture is a nonprofit medical carrier that treats Cleft lip and palate sufferers. This undertaking was once began partially on account of Mike's pastime for the world — also known as his yard!
It looks like in spite of the rumors, Mike is not going anywhere. In truth, from the sound of things, he will be pretty busy in the near long term! And fanatics cannot wait to see what kind of projects he'll do subsequent, American Pickers or in a different way.
