A Home Depot worker's rage quitting response to a customer gripe is receiving applause from other folks on social media.

A Home Depot Worker is being applauded for quitting after entering a dispute with a rude customer.

It was 1909 when retail magnate Harry Gordon Selfridge coined the time period "the customer is always right," a credo that was once rooted in an assurance London customers in his division retailer. Other businesses would move directly to adopt this terminology as the root of their very own attitudes towards customer service.

Despite the announcing, the customer isn't always right.

This ideology has come what may morphed into some other folks believing they are able to hatch themselves into lumbering shopperzillas who spazz out at the first minimal wage employee who dares defy them.

There are countless examples of customer freakouts which were documented and posted to social media, like this one Burger King customer who could not wrap their head around the fact they weren't receiving a bargain in the drive-thru, or this different person who drew a line in the sand when it got here to paying taxes on chips.

There's masses of viral movies appearing consumers being impolite to retail workers.

And a viral TikTok uploaded via @sheisty_345 shows a Home Depot employee doing simply that in a dialog with a customer who seems to have a gripe with the fact that the price they have been being charged for an item at check-out wasn't the same price they saw within the store's aisle.

It seems Andrew had asked the customer to snap a photograph of a sale price since it did not fit what was on the laptop.

Judging from the dialog between the Home Depot employee, Andrew, and the customers, it might appear that Andrew had asked the customer to return to the aisle to snap a photo of the price and convey it back to check-out so he may honor the fee discrepancy.

The customer didn't seem to like this answer.

However, this should've now not been a tenable answer for the Home Depot customer, as Andrew turns into annoyed by way of their reaction and starts cursing out the customers before tossing a sign in their direction and quitting his job on the spot.

"She asked you to check the price you said-" the man says to Andrew, who replies, "I just said can you get a picture and you made a big deal out of that," he tells the patron.

Andrew then says, "I told you to get a f----- picture for me and you made a big deal out of it," Andrew says once more sooner than leaning towards the register.

"Listen to you dude. You work here," the customer responds.

"Listen to you dude. You work here," the customer tells the employee.

"I don't give a f--- if I work here bro," the younger guy says before slapping the log out the counter, "f--- outta my face dude. Get the f--- outta here."

"I f---- quit," Andrew says at the finish of the video.

A girl status via the counter who seems to be any other Home Depot employee urges Andrew to visit the executive's administrative center.

"I f---- quit," Andrew says as he walks clear of the counter, as he seems to untie his apron as he walks off camera.

Commenters looked to be overwhelmingly supportive of Andrew.

Commenters who noticed the clip apparently commended him for his actions, with one person writing: "Andrew did what all us workers want to do on the daily big props

Other people believe that the customers must have been rude to get Andrew to quit on the spot.

Someone else wrote: "that's the customer carrier most of the people deserve lol"

Others could relate.

Another concurred: "Andrew did and mentioned the entirety I wish I could to a rude customer with out concern of shedding my job."

"Andrew without a doubt shoulda stubborn just a little more," some other consumer added.

But there were some who thought that he could've been a bit more explicitly expressive of his feelings in those moments: "Andrew unquestionably shoulda cussed a little bit more"
