Many will recall the day self-checkout grocery store traces was a thing. While the shy and anti-social humans (the two aren’t at all times related) rejoiced at the idea of testing one's personal groceries, there have been various concerns about them.

One of the extra urgent issues was self-checkout lines taking real-life cashiers’ jobs.

Well, according to one TikTok person’s video, the cashiers might not need to fear a couple of gadget outearning them, but they might wish to pay closer attention to their shoppers.

During the video, the TikToker recorded a shopper who took control of her grocery shopping experience when the cashier took too lengthy to ring up her order. Here’s what happened!

A woman rang up her personal groceries as a result of her cashier was taking too long to ring her up.

While self-checkouts or even online delivery are fashionable tactics to get through grocery shopping sooner, some other people still prefer the joys of constructing small talk with a cashier as they ring up and bag their groceries.

Unfortunately, one woman didn’t enjoy the perks of waiting in the cashier’s line. In TikTok consumer @laayl0w7_’s 8-second video, the woman waiting in line stood beside the cashier’s scanner and started ringing up several items, including frozen foods and breakfast cereals.

After a few moments of ringing up her groceries, @laayl0w7_ chuckles as the genuine cashier in the store runs to her station and finishes ringing the woman’s items up for her. However, the woman reputedly has a regimen going as she continues scanning the groceries with the cashier. In the words of @laay0w7_, “I’m lifeless!”

“She trynna be the quickest cashier in the global,” the TikToker wrote in her TikTok’s caption.

Several TikTok users noticed nothing fallacious with the woman taking up her cashier’s task.

After witnessing @laayl0w7_’s TikTok, a number of of the app’s customers expressed their emotions about the consumer’s shady method of telling the cashier operating at the retailer to do better. The woman gained comments from self-checkout customers who mentioned her quandary was why they solely store self-checkout.

Others shared that they saw nothing mistaken with the woman’s reaction and even mentioned they’ve needed to compete to be “the fastest cashier in the global” a couple of times.

“This is why I use self-checkout far and wide, lol,” one consumer wrote.

“Haha, I’d do the same,” another agreed.

“LMFAOAOAOAOAOAO MEEEEEE,” a 3rd consumer boasted.

"For real!! They realized they get paid the same so they go in slow motion, like I don’t got places to be myself," another chimed in.

Clearly, the internet is on the aspect of the buyer in this situation, although it was once somewhat shady.

Like the commenters above, I don’t see an issue with anything else that came about in the TikTok. Actually, that’s no longer true. The cashier must’ve been shifting a little bit faster to keep away from the woman taking matters into her own palms.

However, all of this is able to’ve been avoided if the shopper used self-checkout — my most well-liked manner of shopping!
