Today would’ve been our wedding day, but 2020 had different plans in store for us. As bittersweet as it is to not be walking down the aisle today, I truly believe in divine timing and that everything happens for a reason 💕 These last several months have been a series of ups and downs that have challenged our relationship like never before, but have made us so much stronger and closer as a couple. I now realize more than ever how well we work as a team and how grateful I am to have you by my side in this journey of life. On top of everything else going on in the world and in our busy lives, we somehow managed to pack up and sell our house in the midst of the pandemic, live in a tiny Airbnb all summer, and then finally close on our new home which we just moved into about a week and a half ago. At times the Universe gives us what we need, rather than what we want. It’s clear now how badly we needed this move to the quiet suburbs of north county San Diego. Even with a long to-do list and all the boxes that still need to be unpacked, I don’t think either of us have ever felt more content, at peace, and at home. I’ve cooked more in the last week than I have in the last two years. We’ve sat on our back porch every night talking about life. Taken the best bubble baths 🛁 And have slept like babies since getting our bed back after it was stored away in between moves 🙌🏻 The excitement and celebration of our wedding day will be well worth the wait and next summer will be here before we know it, but for now we get to enjoy putting down roots in our forever home and making memories that will last a lifetime 🏠 I love you forever and always @tylerlscott & can’t wait to marry you in 324 days ... Xoxo, your future wife 😘 PS. Gotta give a thank you shoutout to our amazing wedding planner @419weddings and to all our awesome vendors (@adrimendezphotography @bacalaofilms @risingtidecostarica @villapuntodevista and more) who have been so patient, helpful, and understanding. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you next summer ✨🥰👰🏻#postponedontcancel #destinationwedding #costarica #puravida #monicatystheknot 💍
